We hired J&A Contracting in August 2008 to oversee several remodeling projects for our home. The projects were completed in December 2008. J&A coordinated projects that were not only diverse but often running concurrently. The work included interior painting, rebuilding a bathroom, installing granite flooring, cabinets, etc. All J&A employees and their subcontractors were friendly, hardworking and conscientious. When project timeliness needed to be extended, we were notified promptly and every effort was made to coordinate their schedule with our hectic traveler & visitor schedules. Projects were completed on time except in those situations where there was a change in our schedule or in those instances where our indecision resulted in a halt to the project. I am sharing this to illustrate the flexibility and "above the call of duty" willingness on the part of J&A Contracting to work with us and to ensure we would be completely satisfied with the result. This characteristic is hard to find. The quality and the final product can be confirmed by the many favorable comments and compliments we have received. J&A provided ideas, proposed alternate solutions along with associated price quotes, so we would have a full understanding of options, issues, challenges, and costs. Workers arrived on time, worked steadily, and did an excellent job of cleaning up each day (we were living in the house at the time) and/or minimizing "mess." J&A ensured the work was done to our satisfaction.
